Wilronn and Friends

When I walked in this Cafe last week, it just like brings me to a Baba & Nyonya Restaurant. In fact it is not just Baba & Nyonya food. This cafe seems new to me, therefore I have to spend more time, words, to express my "feeling"to it.

Noor & Dean's Cafe basically known as Espresso Bar and also Asian Fusion as well. In further, we can say that it emphasizes on Malaysian' Food especially Malay, Chinese, and Indian food.

*THROWBACK*

The first thing that I saw during the day once i step in this Cafe

They are preparing the drinks that we call "Noor meets Dean’s" which contained:
Cranberry juice, pineapple, orange, lemon juice, ginger ale & grenadine.

Next, they proceed to the other juice named Cool Mint & Lime Fitz

It contains Fresh muddles lime & mint over crushed iced topped with soda

Well, let's get started with the food that we wait for ages...

This is a very traditional food from Malay - Cucur Udang

Asian style prawn fritters served with peanut sauce

Frankly speaking, the peanut sauce is awesome, tasty although it is just a very ordinary food in Penang. There is a tip: Eat it while it is still hot and warm, the prawn will be more crispy !

Now we have Noor & Dean’s Platter.

It served with Spring rolls, bread pakora, cucur udang & chicken wings.

If you ask & refer to elder people in Malaysia/Penang, they will definitely familiar with the food below.

Gado-gado

It mixed up with Steamed mixed local vegetables with prawn fritters, boiled egg & peanut sauce. Yeap, my favourite peanut sauce again! XD

Did you ever hear Nasi Lemak in Malaysia? Ya, I am asking Stupid Question right? Haha. How about Nasi Lemak in Claypot? Maybe you heard previously, but so sorry to say that it was my first time to hear about this... ><

This is the Claypot Nasi Lemak with Ayam Rendang

Ingredients: Spiced rice with coconut milk & Traditional Malay dry chicken rendang, ikan bilis sambal & nasi lemak condiments. It costs MYR 18.

The rice with claypot smell good when the smell comes out with the curry/rendang.

The following are Shish Kebab & Pasta

Ingredients: Tandoori chicken & grilled vege skewer

Spaghetti Olio

Price: MYR 26

The chicken is not too hard and not too soft, it brings a little bit of spicy. Thus, as a local Penangite, we love spicy and we love Tandoori.... Haaha!

Another way of them to serve this food seems creative to me which is coming with Spaghetti Olio.

On the other hand, there is Chinese Food as well.

Oyster Char Koay Teow

We did try for the western food in Noor & Dean's Cafe too.
